Q4 2020 Performance of Top Fast Food Apps in the UK on Android

In the fourth quarter of 2020, the Android platform saw varied performances among the top fast food and fast casual restaurant apps in the United Kingdom. Data provided by Sensor Tower indicates the following trends in app engagement and user activity.

McDonald’s UK experienced a notable peak in downloads, reaching approximately 105K in late October, followed by a gradual decline to around 40K by the end of December. Weekly active users also peaked in October with over 430K users but stabilized to approximately 367K by the year's end.

The Subway® - Official App had a significant spike in downloads in mid-October, with over 76K downloads, before tapering down to nearly 8K by December. Active users reached their highest at around 72K in late October, with a noticeable dip to roughly 28K active users by the end of the quarter.

KFC App UKI - Mobile Ordering saw downloads surge to nearly 39K in early November, followed by a descent to about 22K by December's close. The app's weekly active users saw a peak of over 183K in early November, then a slight decrease to around 139K by the quarter's end.

Domino's Pizza Delivery maintained a steady download rate, peaking at roughly 18K in late October and ending the quarter with around 13K downloads. Weekly active users showed a modest peak at over 100K in late October, before dropping to approximately 93K by the end of December.

Lastly, Costa Coffee Club downloads saw a high point of over 21K in mid-November, with a decline to around 8K by the close of December. The app's weekly active users followed a similar pattern, peaking at over 129K in mid-November and falling to just over 105K by the quarter's conclusion.
